musical compositions

As a musician I act as conductor, singer, organist and piano teacher, but in my heart I feel that my life is devoted to composing music - especially choir music... Below my works are listed with title, duration, instrumentation, year composed and date of first performance (marked with *). You can take a look and listen to the music by clicking the titles. Contact me if you would like a copy of some of my scores. You can require a demo CD as well with live recordings.


I'm occasionally working on two larger choral works: a fragmented Magnificat and a Mass. The former is a quite unusual approach to the traditional Magnificat where I focus on the fear and feelings of loss and falling apart of all known values which appear when a new life enters the world. The first wo parts are finished and already performed (Magnificat I + II). The latter will be a large scale contribution to the great mass tradition of the renaissance - the symphony of those days. I have completed a Kyrie, a Credo, a Sanctus, a Graduale and a Lux Aeterna so far. Kyrie and Credo haven't been performed yet.

Electronica
In december 1994 I bought my first PC - and a couple of years later a Macintosh LC (the former I lost in a cellar, but the latter I actually still have...). I experimentated some years with composing for midi sounds, and I used some primitive sequencer software... I made about 50 tracks, here are four of them:
